Top Picks: Pedder Red Fall/Winter 2013

Back with another fantastic season of quirky yet wearable shoes, Pedder Red recently released their Fall/Winter 2013 collection. This season’s shoes are a little gothic, a little androgynous and a lot of fun. What’s more — Pedder Red has teamed up with Dutch artist Diederik Verbakel who brought his signature style of painting to the company’s posters.

Here’s our pick on some of the highlights of this collection.

Flats

Loafers, oxfords and sandals — style without killing your feet.

The loafer shape is still going strong this fall. Velvet textures and rich colours exude luxury, while leathers with contrasting panels are bold without going overboard. Oxfords add some vintage, boyish charm to balance out feminine outfits.

Heels

Colder months don't have to mean dark monochrome. Add some colour with heels.

Strappy heels are a great way to add sophistication to any outfit without bulk, and continue on into the colder seasons in black and white. Colourful heels from the main collection splash some pop to dark winter outfits, while the black loafer heels blend well into corporate situations without losing style.

Boots

Step out and brave the colder temperatures in boots.

It’s not really winter until the boots come out. This year, over-the-knee boots are making a comeback. Military styles in bright colours will stylishly roughen up soft fabrics and silhouettes like lace and chiffon dresses. And who said boots can’t be sexy? These spotted black and white booties won’t let you down on a night out.
